Frontier to unveil maiden resource estimate for Engo Valley by Q3 2026

Frontier Nuclear and Minerals is on track to release the maiden mineral resource estimate for its Engo Valley Uranium Project in Namibia by the third quarter of 2026, marking a significant milestone in the development of one of Namibia’s promising uranium exploration ventures.

The update was detailed in Frontier’s June 2026 quarterly report, which highlights the completion of extensive exploration work over the past two years and sets the initial resource estimate as the company’s immediate priority.

Following the maiden resource declaration, Frontier plans additional drilling to expand the project’s resource base, confirming ongoing exploration efforts beyond the initial estimate phase.

The Engo Valley Uranium Project, covering approximately 68,283 hectares along Namibia’s Skeleton Coast in the Kunene Region, is held by Frontier under an 85% interest. The project operates under a single Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL), which is currently being renewed.

Exploration activity at Engo Valley has accelerated considerably since 2024. This includes a comprehensive RadonX cup survey across the licence area, spanning around 139 square kilometres, followed by two phases of reverse circulation and diamond drilling throughout 2025 to delineate uranium mineralisation.

Frontier noted that although South African mining house Gencor explored the area in the 1970s, recent modern exploration techniques have significantly enhanced the understanding of the uranium system at Engo Valley.

Namibia’s status as a leading global uranium producer forms a key part of Frontier’s investment rationale. The country ranks as the world’s third-largest uranium oxide producer, contributing about 12% of global output, trailing only Kazakhstan and Canada. Namibia also boasts a rich mining heritage spanning over 120 years, covering uranium, zinc, graphite, and gold.

The forthcoming maiden mineral resource estimate will be the first internationally reported assessment of the size and grade of uranium mineralisation at Engo Valley. This estimation will serve as the foundation for future drilling plans and the evaluation of the project’s development potential.

With the maiden resource estimate on the horizon, Frontier Nuclear and Minerals continues to advance Engo Valley as a key asset within Namibia’s robust uranium sector, signaling promising prospects for the company and stakeholders alike.
