Atomic Eagle Ltd. announces positive progress in its drilling program at the Muntanga Uranium Project, aiming to expand its resource base and explore promising new targets across the region.
The ongoing exploration work focuses on resource growth through drilling at Chisebuka and testing early-stage targets at Muntanga North and Namakande. Recent wide-spaced drilling at Muntanga North has revealed a uranium mineralisation zone approximately 600 meters by 200 meters, which remains open for further extension along strike and down dip to the east.
At Namakande, initial drilling intersected a broad, shallow-dipping uranium zone covering about 1000 meters by 400 meters. Exploration and evaluation activities are continuing, with several large-scale targets at Muntanga North still to be tested.
Atomic Eagle CEO Phil Hoskins commented: “Our 30,000-meter drilling program is designed to grow the Muntanga resource while systematically exploring multiple targets across the project area. The encouraging results from earlier drilling at Chisebuka and the newly identified mineralisation at Muntanga North highlight the potential for future resource expansion. We are steadily building a comprehensive geological and radiometric database to refine our understanding and guide further exploration. With over half of the program completed, we look forward to testing the large-scale targets at Muntanga North to unlock additional opportunities.”
For the Namakande 1 and 2 and Muntanga North exploration targets, the Company is also utilising two scintillometers to conduct ground radiometric surveys to further refine the radiometric anomalies (as previously defined by airborne surveys) prior to drilling.
This exploration update underscores Atomic Eagle’s commitment to advancing its uranium assets and enhancing its resource potential in Zambia. The company remains focused on delivering systematic growth through disciplined drilling and thorough geological analysis.
