WAPECC 2025

WAPECC

Taking place from the 3rd – 5th December 2025, at the elegant Golden Tulip Le Diplomate, Cotonou, Benin. The West African Power and Energy Cooperation Conference (WAPECC) serves as a crucial platform to address the pressing challenges and leverage the opportunities in the region’s energy and infrastructure sector. By convening stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and civil society, WAPECC facilitates dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration towards sustainable energy development.

Facing growing challenges of energy access, energy transition, and regional integration of power grids, WAPECC has established itself as an essential forum allowing local and international stakeholders to meet, exchange ideas, and collaborate. The event provides an avenue to showcase innovative solutions, discuss policy reforms, and catalyze investments in renewable energy projects, infrastructure development, and off-grid solutions.

Organized every two years, WAPECC has become the essential crossroads where policymakers, investors, operators, technical experts, and innovators in the West African energy sector meet. Our consistent growth testifies to the relevance of our mission and the quality of our programs.
