Victory Metals CEO meets with Trump Administration on US critical mineral strategy

Victory Metals Limited CEO Brendan Clark has returned from a series of meetings with members of the Trump Administration in Washington to discuss how Australia can partner the United States’ evolving critical mineral strategy, with particular emphasis on strengthening long term access to heavy rare earth elements (HREEs).

Mr Clark was accompanied by Victory’s Senior Advisor for U.S. Strategic Engagement Ms Emma Doyle, the former Deputy Chief of Staff to President Donald J. Trump, with the meetings focusing on how global supply chains continue to face geopolitical and concentration risks.

US policymakers continue to prioritise partnerships with reliable, likeminded countries like Australia to secure future supply and representatives of the Trump Administration reaffirmed that Australia remains one of the world’s safest, most trusted and lowest risk jurisdictions for critical mineral development and investment. Victory’s development pathway aligns strongly with these strategic objectives.

Victory highlighted the scale and significance of the North Stanmore project, which current estimates indicate could supply up to 8% of global heavy rare earth demand. This positions Victory as one of the few emerging producers able to materially contribute to secure, diversified supply chains for the United States and its allies.

The meetings explored opportunities for deeper strategic engagement, including potential avenues for offtake, development cooperation and alignment with US supply chain initiatives. All discussions were constructive and demonstrated strong interest in Victory’s capacity to deliver a reliable, ethically sourced HREE supply.

Victory Metals CEO Brendan Clark commented:

“The interest shown by the Trump Administration and further meetings at the Pentagon and White House underscores the growing urgency around critical mineral security and highlights the strategic value of Victory’s heavy rare earth capability. Australia continues to be seen as a highly trusted partner, and we look forward to progressing these conversations when we return to Washington in April.”
