Amigo Resources gains strategic licences to expand Tanzanian operations

Amigo Resources PLC has secured two processing licences in Tanzania, giving the company the regulatory footing to advance its planned modular mineral processing hubs at Kabete Mines and Mojimoto.
The London-listed mining development company said the Mining Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania granted licences PCL/00496/2026 for Kabete Mines and PCL/0352/2026 for Mojimoto.
Amigo said the licences will support the development of infrastructure for exploration, metallurgical evaluation, ore aggregation and small-scale mining integration across multiple project areas in Tanzania.
The planned hubs are intended to handle gravity-based mineral recovery, toll treatment services, process optimisation, integration of Primary Mining Licence and artisanal operators, evaluation of ultra-fine recovery systems and potential future expansion into advanced beneficiation circuits.
The company said its next phase of work will comprise metallurgical test work, drilling, processing hub engineering and progressive integration of PML and artisanal feedstock into a centralised processing model.
