Asante secures extension on key financing deadlines to advance capital strategy

Asante Gold Corp. announced that its senior lenders and hedge counterparties have agreed to extend two critical deadlines related to its Senior Facilities Agreement, providing the company with additional flexibility as it pursues broader financing options.

Originally, Asante was required to secure at least US$100 million in new funding by 31st August 2026, and to submit a cost-to-complete certificate by 20th August 2026. Both deadlines have now been extended to 30th September 2026, allowing more time for ongoing discussions with lenders.

This extension supports Asante’s efforts to negotiate new financing or amend existing agreements with the goal of securing capital on terms that minimize shareholder dilution. The company remains encouraged by the positive engagement and support from its financing partners and stakeholders, though no guarantees exist regarding the final structure, timing, or completion of any future financing.
