Cazaly Resources initiates new drilling campaign at its Kaoko Lithium Project in Namibia

Australian mining company Cazaly Resources has initiated a new drilling campaign at its Kaoko Lithium Project in Namibia.

The 1,200-m reverse circulation drilling program targets subsurface lithium mineralization at the Ohevanga prospect, following the discovery of lithium reserves from surface sampling last November. The samples confirmed the presence of more than 110 parts per million of lithium over a one-kilometer area, while the Ohevanga prospect spans 120 km².

In June, Cazaly Resources renewed its Environmental Clearance Certificate for the Kaoko Lithium Exploration License, enabling the start of drilling operations.

The development of the Kaoko Lithium Project is supported by its access to key transport and energy infrastructure, including roads, the Port of Walvis Bay and Namibia’s 320 MW Ruacana hydroelectric power station.
