Toubani Resources Ltd. is progressing steadily with the development of the Kobada Gold Project, moving into an active construction phase supported by completed financing and mobilisation of personnel.

The award of key construction packages and mobilisation of personnel and contractors to site reflects the transition into an increasingly active phase of Project execution. With the financing process now complete, Kobada is well funded to support the next stage of construction, materially de-risking the Project and providing a clear pathway to delivery. We remain firmly on track to achieve our objective of bringing Kobada into production as West Africa’s next gold mine, positioning the Company to deliver long-term value for our stakeholders.”
Current earthworks at Kobada are focused on the process plant site, with CIL tank earthworks completed and formwork prepared for ring beams. Clearing at the crusher and Run-of-Mine (RoM) pad is well advanced, alongside initial construction at the Tailings Storage Facility where embankment works have started. The airstrip is 65% complete and fully fenced.
Construction of the permanent camp is progressing well, with foundations poured and walls rising. The water storage dam is complete and ready to collect rainfall, while standpipe construction is underway at the turkey’s nest.
All key construction personnel and contractors are now on site, actively engaged in their tasks including an alignment workshop preparing for plant construction. The Toubani team continues to provide regular community updates on development activities.
Structural steel fabrication for the process plant is on schedule, with over 500 tons completed to date. Ball mill fabrication is finished, with imminent shipping of the ball mill and mineral sizer. Generator sets for the power plant have passed final inspection and will ship later this month. Plate work for the CIL tanks has arrived in Bamako, with rolling, beveling, and painting underway. The first completed plates will soon be shipped to site to begin construction once ring beams are cured.
Toubani is targeting first gold production in the third quarter of 2027 and remains on track to meet this goal.
Alongside construction, operational and pre-production planning is advancing. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for Kobada is underway and expected by Q3, which will finalize pit design and mining schedules. This update will facilitate detailed planning for pre-production grade control drilling, clearing, and other preparatory activities, commencing with equipment mobilisation by mining contractor Corica Mining Services S.A.
Operational readiness planning is progressing collaboratively across construction and operations teams in Kobada, Bamako, and Perth to ensure a smooth transition to production.
