Victory Metals advances rare earths production with promising pilot plant success

Victory Metals Ltd. is pleased to announce the ongoing successful operation of its flotation pilot plant in Perth, Western Australia, producing heavy rare earth enriched concentrate. The Company has begun dispatching this concentrate to potential offtake partners in Australia, Japan, and the United States for independent evaluation, marking a significant step toward commercial agreements.

Continuous pilot plant success and strategic dispatch of concentrate

Victory Metals’ purpose-built flotation pilot plant continues to operate steadily under continuous conditions, consistently delivering high-grade heavy rare earth mineral concentrate. This ongoing operation validates the Company’s simple and cost-effective flotation process while enabling direct control and optimization of processing knowledge.

Having produced sufficient volumes of concentrate, Victory Metals has commenced sampling programs by sending product samples to potential partners across key markets in Australia, Japan, and the United States. These partners will independently assess the concentrate’s grade, rare earth distribution, and impurity levels, a critical step in qualifying the product for commercial offtake agreements.

The concentrate is notably enriched with premium elements Dysprosium, Terbium, and Yttrium, aligning with the strategic needs of Western supply chains seeking secure, non-Chinese sources of these critical materials.

Pre-Feasibility Study update: Enhanced ore reserve potential

In parallel with pilot plant operations, Victory Metals has updated its Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the 100% owned North Stanmore Project. A key development is the reclassification of a substantial volume of material previously logged as saprock, now identified as saprolite – the primary ore type supporting the Company’s metallurgical success.

This correction allows inclusion of additional high-grade saprolite within the Ore Reserve PFS, expected to enhance the project’s economic outlook and support a potential expansion of the Ore Reserve.

“Identifying that much of the material previously considered saprock is actually saprolite – the very material on which all our test work is based – is a clear win for the project,” said Brendan Clark, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Victory Metals. “Including this material in the PFS Ore Reserve adds economic value and is a commercially sound decision.” He added, “Extending the PFS completion to August 2026 allows us to incorporate a larger proven ore inventory, strengthening both the study and the project.”

Looking ahead

Victory Metals remains committed to advancing its pilot plant operations and PFS workstreams, with all other study components progressing on schedule. The Company looks forward to updating the market as sampling programs and offtake discussions develop.
