New drilling reveals extended gold mineralisation at Dokwe

Ariana Resources PLC said drilling at its Dokwe Gold Project in Zimbabwe has confirmed scope to grow the deposit beyond its current resource envelope, with gold mineralisation now shown to extend at least 150 metres beyond Dokwe North.

The AIM- and ASX-listed explorer said all assays have now been received from its 2025-2026 reverse circulation drilling programme at the 100%-owned project. Key Dokwe North intercepts included 22 metres at 1.49 grams per tonne gold from 111 metres, 8 metres at 1.20 grams per tonne from 65 metres, and 1 metre at 3.77 grams per tonne from 101 metres.

Ariana said the mineralisation remains open along strike and occurs at shallow depths in moderately to strongly oxidised dacite, suggesting the material could be amenable to mining and processing.

Further extensions were also identified at Dokwe Central, including 2 metres at 4.67 grams per tonne gold from 174 metres and 4 metres at 1.56 grams per tonne from 52 metres, while initial drilling at the Sinkwe prospect continued to indicate potential for shallow gold mineralisation.

Managing director Kerim Sener said the company is now focused on diamond drilling to provide material for feasibility study testwork and geotechnical drilling at Dokwe Central. Ariana said the latest results warrant a Dokwe JORC resource update in the second half of 2026.
