GoldStone Resources increases production at Homase Mine in Ghana

Gold producer and explorer GoldStone Resources has increased production at its Homase Mine in Ghana, recording a gold doré pour of 598.9 ounces as of 24th March, a 14% increase from the previous month.

The production milestone coincides with an ongoing expansion at the site, aimed at accessing deeper ore at Pit 1. GoldStone Resources plans to restart operations at Pit 1 later this month. Increased stacking and improved leach kinetics are expected to drive further production gains in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the company continues to advance the second lift of pads three and four at the mine. The extension of Cell 5 is nearing completion, while civil engineering works continue on Cells 6 and 7. Located in southwestern Ghana, the Homase Mine holds an estimated 602,000 ounces of gold resources at an average grade of 1.77 grams per ton.
